  1. Dear Shareware Vendor,
  2.  
  3. This file contains our distribution policy and information on all products.
  4. ABC Software has a simple distribution policy. You have permission to 
  5. distribute our shareware in its original form as long as you:
  6.  
  7. -identify it as shareware,
  8. -leave all intellectual property (copyright) notices in place,
  9.  
  10. ...and as long as we do not request that you stop.  That's it.
  11.  
  12. You may archive our programs, unarchive them, include or exclude optional
  13. files (like this one), include them with other programs on the same disk,
  14. and do essentially anything you want as long as you follow the simple rules
  15. above.  
  16.  
  17. We want the widest possible distribution and don't want to stand in your way
  18. so long as you are honest with our mutual customer. You may choose to include
  19. all or a part of register.txt at your option.  
  20.  
  21. Our normal distribution sequence is:
  22.  
  23. 1.  New versions are shipped automatically to our registered users and are
  24.     automatically shipped to new registrants,
  25. 2.  New versions are uploaded to our website at:
  26.     http://www.islandnet.com/~abcsoft/download.htm
  27.     and are available anytime, anywhere via the Internet's World Wide Web.
  28. 3.  All ASP distribution members are included in the regular ASP CD.  
  29.     This saves both of us time, money and effort.  If you are not an ASP 
  30.     vendor or bulletin board member please consider joining.
  31. 4.  We send copies of our major revisions of software to non-ASP
  32.     vendors who have notified us of their interest.  If you are a catalog
  33.     house, send us a copy of the catalog in which the program appears, 
  34.     together with a copy of the diskette(s) containing the program(s) you
  35.     wish to distribute;
  36.     We will send you a copy of any major updates to our software.  If you
  37.     run a bulletin board, send us a diskette(s) containing the program(s) you
  38.     wish to distribute and your mailing address and we will update the
  39.     diskette and mail it back to you.
